The five-star deluxe hotel The Chedi Andermatt was built in 2013 and named Hotel of the Year by GaultMillau Switzerland in 2017. This exclusive hotel in the heart of the Swiss Alps, with its 123 elegant rooms and suites, four outstanding restaurants and modern Spa and Health Club with a unique wellness area, is an unusual liaison of Alpine chic and Asian expression.

Inspired by the luxurious bathrooms of Asia, Schmidlin products were also used in the construction of the luxury resort by Belgian star architect Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston International Architects & Planners, in collaboration with Germann & Achermann Architekten from Altdorf.

In keeping with the style, the straight-lined washbasins from the Schmidlin STUDIO line impress with their clear form and generous interior. They were produced as custom-made products for the Deluxe Suites of The Chedi Andermatt.
