Modern sanitary facilities at a busy Rigi railway station#

As part of the comprehensive renovation of the Rigi Railway’s high platform in Goldau, the sanitary facilities in the historic building of Europe’s oldest mountain railway were also modernised. Here, Schmidlin impresses with high-quality products that meet the special requirements of public sanitary facilities.

Since the renovation, custom-made ORBIS washstands from Schmidlin have been in frequent use by travelling mountain enthusiasts in both the women’s and men’s toilets. The men’s toilets are also equipped with Schmidlin ECOPUR urinals, which are available in various versions with different functions.

ECOPUR is the first urinal made of glazed titanium steel – a material particularly well suited for use in toilets. It is resistant to acids and scratches, shatterproof, lightweight and stands out with its high-quality appearance.

At the client’s request, the ECOPUR 200 SD model with advertising display was installed in Goldau. Centralised data management is handled via SIS Media. Whether images, animations or videos: attention is guaranteed, enabling attractive advertising and information opportunities. An ideal addition for an intimate space in public buildings.
