«High quality for bathrooms»#
Bad Ragaz is waiting to be discovered – take a deep breath and savour the “Heidiland”, home of beloved children’s character Heidi, visit the awe-inspiring Tamina gorge and relax in the blissful Tamina Therme spa.
The hotel reopened in spring 2011 following a series of renovations. A simple, linear design and natural materials help create a sense of wellbeing, and classic and contemporary styling are successfully blended together. During the renovation, all rooms and suites in this modern hotel were fitted with products from the Schmidlin bath and shower range. Trust and reliability are important factors for clients and architects. “We are familiar with Schmidlin products from our own experience, and we love their quality, the wide range of products and the company’s flexibility”, says Peter Curiger, the interior designer responsible for the project, who specialises in interior design for hotels and restaurants. With their clear lines and shapes, the baths, shower trays and shower areas from the Schmidlin range are the perfect visual fit for Curiger’s design, whose principles have been followed consistently throughout the Sorell Hotel Tamina. “In a tourist destination like Bad Ragaz, which specialises in bathing and where guests come for rest and relaxation, a high-quality bathroom is very important. What matters is that our guests feel comfortable, and quality plays a major role in that. Bathtubs must be generously proportioned, as guests expect a greater level of luxury than they have at home, and Schmidlin bathtubs meet our needs better than the rest”, add hoteliers Monica and Rudolf Weber.
