Three product groups – one coordinated system#
The different sizes and versions provide suitable solutions for recurring floor plans and different installation situations.
The SWISS LINE range covers the key areas of the bathroom:
A floor-level shower area for flexible bathroom designs#
The SWISS LINE shower area sits level and flush with the floor. Its drain is located on the short side and provides reliable drainage. With an installation height of 10–20 cm, it allows a space-saving installation in new builds and renovations. It is available in all 21 colours of the Schmidlin palette, covering colour classes I to VI. This lets it blend into different material and colour schemes or serve as a deliberate design accent.
Reliable planning and installation#
A matching installation system is available for every SWISS LINE product. Products, installation, waterproofing and drainage technology are coordinated. This reduces the number of interfaces and simplifies work on site.
When installed professionally, the complete system meets the relevant requirements of SIA 181 “Sound insulation in buildings” and SIA 271/1 “Waterproofing of interior spaces”. It also supports the delivery of projects under the Swiss Sustainable Building Standard (SNBS).
All SWISS LINE products are manufactured in Switzerland from glazed titanium steel. The combination of steel and enamel creates a strong, resistant and durable surface.
The material is hygienic, easy to care for, colourfast and UV-resistant. Steel and enamel are also natural, fully recyclable materials. Schmidlin provides a 30-year guarantee on its enameled products.
Colours and surfaces to suit individual requirements#
Bathtubs, shower trays and washbasins are offered in colour class I (Alpine White).
Various surface options are available for all product groups to improve safety and ease of care:
- ANTIGLISS PRO is robust slip protection made from fired-in quartz sand.
- AQUAGRIP is an anti-slip treatment that is virtually invisible and barely perceptible when dry. Its slip-resistant effect becomes active on a wet surface.
- CLEANEFFECT repels limescale and dirt and makes cleaning easier.
AQUAGRIP is available only in Alpine White and cannot be combined with CLEANEFFECT.
GreenSteel for a reduced CO₂ footprint#
The GreenSteel option lets you choose the proportion of CO₂-reduced steel. Depending on the product, GreenSteel 25, GreenSteel 50 and GreenSteel 100 are available.
Material quality and performance remain unchanged. SWISS LINE thus combines economical planning with a more considered choice of materials.
